2018 FinCoNet Annual General Meeting
6-8 November 2018, Brasilia, Brazil
The FinCoNet Annual General Meeting was hosted by the Central Bank of Brazil in Brasilia, Brazil on 6-7 November 2018. The AGM was followed by an International Seminar on Open Banking (co-hosted by the Central Bank of Brazil and FinCoNet), which was held in the morning of 8 November 2018. The Seminar was incorporated into the Central Bank of Brazil's IV Financial Citizenship Forum. The first session of the Seminar discussed the privacy and security of personal data in the context of open banking. The second session explored the impact, as well as the risks and challenges of open banking on economics and financial consumer protection at national and international levels.
